That's good to hear, I think there was really only one or two characters I actively liked in DS1.
There's this guy who's an adult but he's like super laid back and irresponsible. So far he's my fav.
Yeah a modern entry would be cool as well, I just like the actual detective gameplay of the Raidou titles and the setting. I've never heard bad things about the cast of DS2, most fans say it's a huge improvement over the original.
And I haven't met many characters yet, but so far, no one is as bad as Yuzu, that cosplayer girl and the Law and Chaos dweebs
Another Raidou game would be cool, but I'd also like to see another modern-era Devil Summoner. GUMP and all
I've heard the plot and cast are better in DS1, as well as the comparisons to Evangelion. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the art style of the games. Last Bible may get some renewed interest if the new fantasy RPG they are working on does well. I honestly would love a new Raidou game.
Devil Summoner feels plausible, considering they've gone out of their way to bring Soul Hackers here. Here's hopinh we'll also get a rerelase of game one, and perhaps a Raidou Collection for Vita? Last Bibtle doesn't seem very likely though, tbh. Wasn't that their original take on the SRPG? If so, Devil Survivor probably took its place. Speaking of, startyed Devil Survivor 2. The characters aren't nearly as annoying as in the original, but the art style remains horrible. And the plot feels much lighter, much more like an early-episode Evangelion knock-off than SMT
Probably sooner than they should to be honest. Atlus seems to be transitioning from small fry company to big leagues much like Square did in the late 90s. So I would assume a fifth entry is well on the way, though I'm sure we'll see a special edition and several spin-offs of P5 before that happens. At least I don't feel it will be another ten year wait like the last two. I'm more curious to see if they might resurrect Devil Summoner or Last Bible. Hell a sequel to Catherine would be interesting to see.
Curves are nice Also, like I said, I really love Kaneko's style, old or new, but it does feel similar to something. At least when it comes to characters. I actually like Doi more as a character designer, I think, since his faces feel the most unique of the three, but yeah, Kaneko's demons are the best. I really hope we can get more from him someday. Do you think we'll ever have an SMTV?
