Haha I'm the same! I feel it's a good way to introduce them to the system. Also, I like to imagine that they don't figure out how to view their rep, so when they finally get there they find a load of comments praising them. Hopefully it brings a tear to their eye. There are some posts I make where I'm fairly certain I'll get rep, but I never make posts specifically to get rep. I did expect the one in the STI test thread to get more, though. xD But whyyyyyy is Aaron Freed an internet celebrity. What he do, yo?
Yeah I love to rep all kinds of posts. I'm especially liberal with newbies or "nobodies" because they need to know I appreciate their work. Rep without comments are so trout. It's not every day that I set out to make a post looking for rep. I try and post well, but very rarely do I have posts like "oh I'll make this 'cause it'll get rep" and so when I get rep with no comment I'm like whyyyyy is it good Aaron Freed is a bit of an internet celebrity. Be careful about saying his name again, he tends to appear on the third one
Although, there's few things more disappointing than getting rep with no comment.
I got one from Rantz saying something along the lines of "YOU COOKING MAMA. I ROVE ROO". Best. Rep. Ever. Yeah, I feel like a boss when I get rep from those two celebs. I've also had a few from The Man, who is apparently Aaron Freed, who is apparently well-known on the internet for stuff. So yeah, that's like being followed on Twitter by a celebrity, or something. I dunno. xD It's kind of pathetic how happy I am. I didn't get here by getting repped by Raist or whoever it was when they had massive rep power, either! It's a really cool system, though. I rep funny posts, useful posts, honest posts and insightful posts alike. Saves the effort of VMing, haha.
