Yeah, Harry was probably the blandest character, but while it made sense in the books since he was kind of your POV into the world, in the movies it doesn't work as well. Whereas Ron's personality has been completely butchered in the movies with the majority of his positive traits being passed on to Hermione, who was already awesome anyway Fantastic Beasts probably has my favorite character in the entire HP universe. Part of it is probably influenced by the fact that his name is Kowalski, but no, he's really great all-around
I expect it to be pretty good, of anything, finally moving away from Mr. Potter himself will make it interesting for me. I like the HP world, not a fan of some of it's major characters.
But the movie's really awesome, whether you like the books or not, I think, since it's essentially its own, self-contained thing
Oh boy, I don't know where to even start describing how big a part of my life this series is It's because of this that I wanna be writer, and actually the reason that I started reading books at all
It's on my bucket list of films to see along with Doctor Strange, the end of the year is pretty hectic for me and I tend to watch films with a particular group of people, so getting all of our schedules in line usually means I'm watching everything released from October through December in the following year instead. As for Harry Potter, I've never been a big fan. Watched the films but never got into the books. It's cute, but not my thing.
Yeah... I know what you mean In other news, I'm not sure how into the Harry Potter thing you are, but I've recently seen Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and you may not have noticed, but irl I can't shut up about it. Most fun I've had at the cinema for quite some time.
I'm annoyed they didn't release a disc for it myself, especially since they could have done a cool manual like the old school games for it.
I'll probably give it a go someday! Still pissed the Vita version didn't make it here. At least they're still localizing the Vita version of Romancing SaGa 2
