I don't remember if I have. The Prelude theme is the menu theme, so you hear it whenever you decide to switch gears or make magic. Funny enough, I am Setsuna had a few pieces that were callbacks to FF and CT's musical scores.
Ah, I just love it when the FF Theme plays Have you heard the XV version yet? It's gorgeous
Congratulations, though it's not terribly hard to do so.
Ugh, I need this game >< Just beat VII, btw
I think the Goblins are my favorite monsters in the game.
It's what I intend to do
I had a blast going through both of them when I did my last playthrough of the series. VIII certainly stuck out more as I really went off the beaten path with that game and found some cool Easter eggs and side-quests I never knew about. IX is always one of those games I kick myself for not playing it more. The interactions are pretty groovy in this game, and even better is that while certain character bonding moments are a bit scripted, they still happen randomly. My suggestion when you finally get around to this game is to camp often.
That's great. Honestly, the interactions are what I'm looking forward to the most. Coming back to what you said about me experiencing VIII and IX again, I am pretty hopeful, actually. From the beginning, I was really looking forward to playing IX again, but VIII was the one I was actually looking forward to. Playing VII again, however, reminded me of how many things VIII did right in comparison, so now I am really looking forward to it.
Yeah, XII showed that fans tend to expect overly melodramatic and bombastic story elements over something a bit more restrained. While I'm still early in the game, there hasn't really been any major shifts from what you would know watching the trailers. I'm having more fun watching how much they twisted certain events from the Duscae demo from the final product. There was a sidequest involving Prompto that still has many things play out the same, but the context is very different. Of anything, I'm just digging how interactive the game is compared to XIII and even X and XII. It feels like Tabata was tapping some of the better ideas from the PSX entries for this title.
Exactly. I get some serious XII vibes, honestly, with how subtle everything is. And of course, for many people that's too subtle
