Don't worry. If there's anything I am that I'm proud of, is that I'm very persistent in my faith Whether it's God, other people, or FFXV, I'll believe in them until the very end. Heck, I believed in FFXIII until I got to play it myself! And even though it was the most tedious gaming experience I ever had, I don't regret believing in it because I got to experience it on my own terms. And I am 100% sure that even if everything else about FFXV fails, it will still be a very fun game. But even now I am still very confident it'll be great and I can't wait to play it
Don't start doubting it now.

The Game Informer preview I read was certainly positive. I think his only concerns was more tedious aspects like spending too much time trying to get to objective points for missions and the magic system.
Yep, pretty much. Which is why I try to pay attention to specific details they mention instead of opinions. And it looks like there's a lot of thing I'll like.
If Gamefaqs reviews are anything to go by, then one should know better to trust anything from there. Besides the thing to remember about "fan" reviews is that only passionate people write reviews so you are almost guaranteed to mostly see just the far end of the spectrum with those types of reviews.
It... kinda already is. Though from what I notice, there's far more people who are completely dismissive of the game based on some things they read than there are rabid fanboys who think it can't fail. But yeah, of those who have played, the divide is pretty much like I stated before. Of course, this is mostly reddit. GameFAQs is apparently filled with haters who are shouting at everyone to not buy it.
I doubt it will fail outright, but I expect it to be pretty divisive among fans.
I hope it's a big enough success, then. I'm worried we might not get another numbered FF - or at least a good one - if this fails.
