Is that still a thing?
I'm not sure I have it, though. If I do, it's been pretty mild. Really no symptoms aside from coughing, and I tend to cough a lot anyway What if it's tuberculosis?
I remembering getting bronchitis all the time as a kid. Ugh, you have my condolences.
Coughed all day yesterday. A colleague said it sounds like bronchitis, and if I don't go see a doctor and get that treated, it could turn into pneumonia. Well, the friends that will be visiting us are both doctors, so I'll get my expert's opinion from them
Why would you develop pneumonia?
I didn't get anything written yesterday because I felt sick and guests are coming over today and they'll be staying til Sunday so I have this mandatory break from NaNo which sucks. I just hope I don't develop pneumonia in the meantime
I feel it will get worse before it gets better but "worse" in this sense is relative. I'm sure most U.S. citizens won't notice too much difference outside of the news media hyperbole, which isn't new either. I keep putting off my NaNo novel to work on my main novel or my FFIV article.
I think that in the end everything will be better. I guess I just got kinda mentally prepared for this, considering we had a very similar outcome in our elections, and the Brexit happened. I think there's a big conservative pull in the whole Western world because people are afraid, but that'll change soon
It is what it is. They say the phrase "may you live in interesting times" is a curse but who knows?
Not as bad as I expected, honestly. A lot of people are being very nice towards each other. Of course, there are some incredibly toxic attitudes still prevailing, but I imagine people will come to their senses soon enough.
