That's cool, maybe it will motivate me to finish my FFV Let's Play when you get to that one. I picked up my Metal Gear playthrough I started last year. So I'm blasting through my fave entry of MGS3.
On another note, I’m actually thinking of doing a full FF marathon soon. It’ll still take me a while to get there, since I’d like to finish some other projects first. But this time I want it to be full rather than rushed. This means I’d take things slower but I think taking on all the extra dungeons and bosses could be neat since there are some I’ve never attempted before. I also wanted to include the MMOs, the direct sequels and a second playthrough of Type-0 into the mix - just so I can say I’ve actually beaten them all :P Another thing I think could be fun is not actually making this my marathon, it could be more like a book club that people could join. Like I’d be playing the games in the order listed at the start but so can anyone else and they’re encouraged to share.
Well Saturdays are a good start. So at least we can work something out for next week or the following. As for editing, I wouldn't really bother anyone until we actually have a recording to give.
Yeah, I wouldn’t want it to be this weekend anyway since I need to know these things ahead of time. Saturdays are the only thing that works for me, but I’m also very limited in terms of time because of my small child, so it might be hard to find a window that works for us both.
I'm usually off Tuesday or Saturdays, but won't be able to do this Saturday due to errands.
Ok, so we’ve got something to go on. Now the question is: when do we do it? Once we decide that yes this is happening, I’m gonna have to ask Psy if he’ll be willing to do his editing magic he always did for the other talks. If not, we’re just gonna have to do it on our own and just ask him to upload it to the channel.
That could be a good start.
I think we could start off with a basic idea, e.g. compared to the likes of Dragon Quest, FF has, from the very beginning, attempted to do something interesting with their main villains, so we could go from there and see how they’ve attempted to keep things fresh over the years.
Yeah, I feel a free talk about villains would be ideal too. I think the only ones we might be more behind on - at least me personally - are the MMOs.
I think we're both fairly knowledgeable about most of the villains we could free form it if we wanted to it. Structure in my mind would require making a point about it, whereas the subject is slightly more subjective.
