1. I plan to 2. No, I ran out of time thanks to work, prepping for NaNo, and playing PS4 demos. 3. Sad, but expected considering how VII went down. Still not sure how I feel about the VIII port as I felt the original was pretty solid if a bit slim on content compared to VII. Honestly the world gameplay design was the coolest factor of the game.
Ugh... Just watched the first English trailer for DQVIII 3DS aaaand... the music in it is all synth. This does not bode well... Also, they apparently changed Jessica's voice actress, but I don't mind since the new one sounds just as good. And Yangus is as awesome as ever.
Btw, did you end up entering a spooky story for the contest?
DO THE NANO THING!
I plan on giving it a good once over, but I'm trying to not start anything terribly new at the moment and I kind of got addicted to the Episode Duscae demo which is keeping me excited about XV. I really need to either get back to VII or just start redirecting my focus on NaNo.
Same here, lol. I think Ive started Type-0 twice and just left it like that because I got distracted. It didn't seem like a bad game at all - I just wasn't that into it at that moment
Yeah, that's the issue I tend to have with long winded mission based games. I think it's part of the reason why I don't want to jump into Type-0 completely. I've started a file but I'm kind of trying to avoid it as well.
I think I once started a new game in hard mode and it wasn't too bad. I just kinda lost interest half-way through because something else came up. That's kinda also why I waited with replaying the original TA so long, just so I knew that I had enough excitement and energy for the thing to go through with it to the end.
Good luck with Hard Mode, I hear it's like Crisis Core's version so it will be a steep learning curve.
Ah, that's a shame considering Humes have the largest number of classes to choose from! Last time I played TA2 I had everyone just constantly switching classes so that they always have abilities to learn, but I plan to play on hard next time so I'll probably need to pay much more attention to the job and skill setup.
