I was definitely surprised by the lack of depth in the survey. I think you've been doing a good job lately of making threads soliciting information on specific things, so I'd encourage the staff to keep doing that if the feedback they've received from the survey has been less than ideal. My survey answers were brief because I've already given a lot of specific feedback recently.
I think we probably should have asked for more specifics. We got some "I don't like when [something super vague] occurs" but no real examples on who, when, what threads, and so forth.
Perhaps you need to be asking different questions then - it's difficult to say.
yay!!
Before I forget, you get all my *GLITTERY MOD POINTS* for the day
Has it? Ah well. The number of usable results we got from the survey was sadly slim.
And now I see the survey thread has been moved to make room for it!
Man. It took me forever to find BoB's sticky thread this morning. I glossed right over it many, many times. That's why I decided the announcement was a good idea!
They stand out much more - it's easy to say "read the stickied thread, why didn't you see it?" - but when there are five "important" threads they don't have the impact that an announcement does.
You're welcome! I'm glad to see someone actually reads the announcements!
