  1. Ohhhhhhh boooooy is it hot here right now x___x It's still summer for another month D: It was 40C today, I just came back from walking my fluffy child (almost 8pm) and it's still 36C.....at least it's not humid but every time I leave the house it's like walking out into an oven, but weirdly it doesn't make me sweat much :S

What is the summer like in Poland???
  2. So how's the weather now in Australia? It's actually kind of okay here now since Winter is slowly coming to an end, so there's no more snow and it's starting to get pretty warm.
  3. AFAIK, from VII on the games are unrelated, although there were plans to make them a trilogy, but yeah, they are completely standalone as is
  4. Oooh thanks Fynn that is so helpful! Does that mean VII, VIII and IX are stand-alone titles or are they tied together as well? From what I remember VIII and IX seemed unrelated plot-wise. I wanna play right now +___+ But first I need to get my hands on them xD
  5. I think it's best to start at the beginning. The oldest titles are understandably the most outdated, so you can see how the games develop overtime. It's really cool! Story-wise, I, II and III form a trilogy and they are connected and you kind of should play them in that order to get all the little things, and then the twist in III can just blow you away, otherwise it's just eh But yeah, III is the best of those three, so if you only want to experience one of the old ones, it should be III, though again, I recommend all of them. Then IV, V, and VI form a trilogy, but this one is much more loose, so I think you miss out on less if you don't play them in order.
  6. Ooooh goody, I can't wait ^w^

Okay, I am definitely going to check out your reviews then! If I were to get into it, would it be best to start at the very beginning? Or is it better to start with an awesome title (like V)?
  7. From what I saw, Freya's doing a fantastic job with the coloring, so I'm sure they'll be awesome

I played DQ VIII a bit in the past, and now I'm working through the series from the beginning! I actually wrote reviews for I, II and III for the site, and now I'm playing V and it is just AMAZIN'
  8. Awesome! I'm so happy for you! Being stuck in a job you hate is the worst D: Dragon Quest is awesome +___+ I've only played VIII and IX and Heroes though, but I want to get into it more, although my backlog of games keeps growing....pokemon super mystery dungeon, ff explorers, bravely second and trails of cold steel...gah it keeps growing (first world problems lol)

Yes I'm definitely still gonna RP, I was worried because I couldn't post that my character would be lost to the void, so I'm glad it hasn't progressed too quickly xD And don't worry about the portraits, take as long as you need, I bet they'll look awesome ^^
  9. Oh wow! That is so awesome! I'm so jealous!

I'm actually quite comfortable in my new job, I've finally started writing more and I discovered the Dragon Quest series and I love it!

By the way, if you're still interested in the RP, it's still going on, and it's still moving slowly, so you can jump back in whenever you're interested Sorry the portrait is taking so long, but we're getting there!
  10. HEEEEEY ^_______^

I've been away overseas for almost 2 months (Nepal and India) and I literally stayed in villages with no internet for most of the trip, while it was a humbling experience...I'm so glad I can post again now xDDD How have you been??
