Well, now you've turned the tables on me.
Obviously I've been playing to much Sam and Max. The dry humor is rubbing off on me, and I guess it's not for everyone. Basically the point was this. A. I was trying to say I value your optimism. B. The expresion "Why not?" has many uses that are very optimistic.
