I am too. Now all I need is more actual discussion on the games I review and a healthy income coming in and I'll be golden. I'd settle on either one. Good habit to get into. Have you ever needed to cover any news?
I'm glad people are finding you. Practice and commitment. I've been writing about 1,500 words a day, most days, even when I have work/class/other things on. Even while I was on vacation I was hitting pretty high word counts when I got back to the hotel each night. The act of writing every day gets you in a pretty good habit. It probably also helps that I have so much on; if I wasn't writing that much every day, I just wouldn't be meeting my deadlines and goals.
I don't know. The paper thing happened before I got the job and no one there said anything when I mentioned the Fusion spike. I think it just comes from being persistent online. I know Google Images have been sending people to my blog as well. *low pitch whistle* I don't know how you do it.
Awesome. Any idea how you got all that traffic? Is that new job sending people to your blog? It's awesome if you're getting more exposure! I'm good. Really busy, but good. I have a twenty five hour class intensive this week and then I start prac. Also have a lot of writing to do (as usual). I've written about 55,000 words in July so far.
Pretty good. I saw that my Metroid Fusion got a sudden spike in traffic (I'm talking views into the hundreds) and saw it was at the bottom of the first page in Google search results when you searched "Metroid Fusion Review." Someone generated an online newspaper that had my Infamous review in the headlines and linked to my blog. EoFF made me all misty eyes when they shared my blog on the frontsite. All in all a good week. How are you?
I figured since Shauna's is reshuffling the names again soon, I should make a final effort to say hi. How are things?
Only if you own the things.
Not even if I really want to?
Yeah, try to avoid breaking things.
Small ass world. They're very cool. Everyone has been super helpful so far. They should keep me from blowing up the server by mistake.
