Aye, it's magnifient. I intend to hike up the mountain that has Buddhist temples everywhere and watch the sunrise. Along with exploring limestone caves - IN A BOAT, HOLY trout - and the various beautiful things around. Aye, I should do. I intend to meet Keith, since he's at Shenzhen, which is only a horrific 20 hour night bus ride away.
Google image search is proof of that! What a bunch of squares. You'll make new friends down there at least!
Surprisingly, lots of people. Most of my friends couldn't give a trout about China and have no desire to visit it or me. I'll be in Guiyang, Guizhou. It's one of the most beautiful provinces of China, apparently. Not a bad start.
Who wouldn't?! That sounds awesome, where would you be headed there?
Work. I teach English. I've always wanted to go to China, so it's pretty much the perfect opportunity.
Yeah...we are pretty whiny like that. Don't blame me! What's the reason for the move to the People's Republic?
Oh man, I would love that! I did look into it, but apparently it's damn near impossible since America got a dicking and hasn't shut up about it. Tragically I don't have the option to go without luggage, since I am moving to China for a year. xD
Of course it doesn't include baggage! That's where your wallet takes the biggest hit. If you want to fly for cheap, try being a courier! Flying Cheap: Air Courier Travel - GoNOMAD MINI GUIDE | GoNOMAD.com
Excellent. I have a question. How the bloody hell am I supposed to fly to China for cheap? eBookers.com is offering a £1200 ticket for £500, so I am immediately distrustful. I try to get a ticket from China Southern direct, which takes me to APG Global Associates, who apparently handle ticket sales for them and many others. APG tell me I can fly to China using a comination of Eastern and Southern airlines, making my ticket only £600. However, I've no way of finding out if this includes baggage. /RANT
Good enough for me.
