Hm. Well, no Blood(y) Plate in my inventory, or in the shop. So that one's a bugger. Haven't really done anything about the map except the mages (and I'm 12 hours in already. This game is insanely long <3), so I'll see about Sulcher's Pass tomorrow. Not going to download any until I know I can actually get it on the game. Apparently, there are a variety of DLC/EA server related problems.
Hmm when you download the game content via XBL it should just be available when you start the game up you'll know by these two things: Shale: Sulcher's pass will be a yellow destination icon in the world map Warden's Keep is a guy called Levi Dryden in camp the first time you go there speak to him and agree to help and Soldiers Peak becomes a location in the world map. Blood Plate is simple, the first piece (the actual plate) is in the inventory of any character I believe it shows up at the start of Ostagar the other pieces are sold by the merchant in camp for like 2 - 4 sovereign each piece.
@Halo: Haha that's so brutal. 714 deaths! How long was that game?! @DA: That's what I've done. I downloaded the (Free) Shale and DA Armour ones, but they don't come up. They're not even on the list of downloads. Argh balls. Yeah, I'll have to keep an eye out for that one next time. Can't decide what my next character will be, though! Haha.
Remember what I said about the cage? This is what happened to Kari tonight because she attempted to betray me and Psy, we're cruel we know but it was funny she was fighting back which is why myself and Psy did die some times.
I don't know why that would be an issue, simply do it through the xbl option for browsing game merchandise in the dashboard and do the downloads from there should be allowed to redeem codes still and that'll work fine as for the EA servers, I have no idea what the problem is there. Once you leave lothering and start any of the main quests (the 3 dlc quests are fine but no main quests) the town gets destroyed by the blight so you won't be able to go back however thats something to remember for future playthroughs
I just sorted it out all friendly, like. Didn't get the money. And I haven't stolen the crossbow, but I may as well now, assuming I can go back. Just did the Circle of Magi bit - first Blight quest completed. Do you know anything about the DLC? It won't connect to the EA servers (THAT SHOULDN'T EVEN BE THERE smurfING EA), meaning I can't input the redeem codes. Does not contacting the server stop me from having access to the other DLC too?
something for you quickly to do in DA: O in Lothering when you get there whatever you do don't make the merchant ripping people off leave the town, it's better to take the 100 silver (and a discount) and -4 relationship with Allistair than to get rid of him. The reason being that if you steal from the guy (if you can't steal personally, go to the inn and collect leilana who will happily do it for you) he relinquishes when stolen from a special crossbow (Imprerium crossbow I think) it's made of a level 7 material (dragon wood thing, dragonhorn is it?) requires 30 strength to use, whilst you probably don't have 30 strength at this time Sten starts with 30 strength and this is a very powerful crossbow for him to have so early in the game then all you need do is use him with a tactic slot to change from crossbow - melee when he's close to the targets (so he can stand back, shoot and as the enemy closes he's not using ranged attacks up close) This makes him very useful early on
Oh don't worry even I sometimes look at the game type and ask psy wtf it is generally speaking it's easily picked up
Haha I wouldn't dance anyway! I was only doing Ranked for the achievements. But then I got so bored that I haven't even started on Social yet. I'll jump into a big game with you guys, though you'll have to forgive my newbiness when it comes to WHAT THE smurf IS THIS PLAYTYPE? haha.
Oh no I meant we won't put you in a cage shoot at you with turrets and tell you to dance! As for Ranked, ranked sucks get to rank 10 with low exp so that you get the spartan officer achievement and then leave ranked well alone. Seriously I'm a rank 10 but I can (sometimes I get my ass handed to me but sometimes I have an awesome game) beat the absoloute crap out of 5 star generals. Hell last night me and Psy done some messing around in big team social and were bagging a general from a mongoose when he had a chopper it was beautiful, me with a brute shot beating a chopper xD he also tried to run me down with another chopper when I was retrieving the rocket launcher somehow on foot I managed to acquire the launcher and fire before he got me. I know I can beat a general 1 on 1 why on earth do I need to be a general to prove this? So I can get continuously matched against Generals? Um, no sorry I'd rather not.
