Alright, finish up Tartarus last night in Persona, reached the top even though I'm sure there's more, did a few days and then one of my stupid acquaintances got themselves stuck in there and now I have to go back so that's when I turned off the game Also started Tales of Graces f. I like it so far, but not as much as most others I've played. It's still a good game but so far not up to series standards. They've set their bar pretty high but it's otherwise still good and enjoyable. They gave me a player punch pretty early on. Also the way the game works (this isn't a spoiler, don't worry, they showcase this in the opening cinematic) is that you play the prologue part with some of the heroes as kids and the main guy is like a really misbehaved child. Not bad or mean, but he doesn't behave or listen and does things he shouldn't. This leads to negative consequences. So when you have the 7 year gap and see him grown up, he's very... demure and quiet and kind of bland. It actually realistically makes sense after what happened but it's also kind of disappointing to go from someone so lively to someone so drab

Ugh, yeah, I know what you mean. It's really hard to come by a good game nowadays without that stuff. Danganronpa also kinda had it, but at the same time, that game was meta to the point of ridiculousness, with all the fanservice being lampshaded and parodied. Glad you didn't accidentally get a porn game!
I'm kinda put off by the fetishy everything going on lately. I've sadly accepted that when I want games with large female casts, they're going to be chocked full of fan service, and I wish they weren't I wish I could just have good female characters minus the sexualization, you know? Some are more worth it than other though once you get past the fanservice part Speaking of, the Agarest series is horrible for that. ESPECIALLY in image searches. Don't get me wrong, the game has it's moments, but after I bought it and did a google image search I was like "well crap I bought a porn game". The actual game was nowhere near as bad but it does still have its moments sadly :/
