I don’t like Led Zeppelin. And he does. But I don’t like last.fm either, so I can’t experience these chats with him. The last place would have been #eoff I wasn’t me at the time... I was using a fake name. It was a while ago. RestoredLawyer, I think. He was wailing about this Kurt Cobain thing, and I told him what Kurt Cobain thought about rap and/or hip-hop. pip rarely seemed to stop talking in that place. One of the things that makes it so horrible.
I think it also matters a lot on whether the person is choosing to be uncomfortable to please someone, or whether they are being forced to do something pleasing that makes them uncomfortable.
I wouldn't call that dishonest. That's just doing something nice for someone. Unless they were actually doing something that made them uncomfortable. Then it's...then it's bad. Depending on what it is, of course, but you know. That is my view on it.
