Yeah ugggh. Oh yeah, I totally forgot about Kadaj and his crew. I imagine they'll show up at some point, surely!
Same here but fans nowadays have really high standards plus it is harder to milk money without giving what the fans want. Would be Interesting if the Kadaj's gang appears in game.
It's kinda annoying! They're probably going to find a loophole so Aerith doesn't die... which ruins literally the entire story. I would have been happier with a direct remake with updated graphics, combat, and voice acting, but ah well.
It is kinda like fan service. Like how Zack is popular and they brought him back. This is how games roll nowadays. Another example is Warcraft. Illidan died in Warcraft III and suddenly he is back in World of Warcraft Burning Crusade. After which, he is BACK again in Legion. Holy hell.
I'm in two minds about the FF7 remake. The graphics are super pretty and the combat is great - but they're kinda deviating from the original story too much, which is frustrating. I'll keep that in mind. I never much paid too much attention to the lore in WoW anyway. I was too young to appreciate a good backstory, I just wanted to kill things
But FFVII is quite brilliant though I heard. Not sure if we would see it completed in our lifetime. Actually the lore of Warcraft truly starts with Warcraft 3. And it got raped through and through in World of Warcraft.
Ah, damn. Remasters are always hit and miss. I'll have to try and get the originals!
I heard it was horrible. They promised more but they only delivered graphic updates and they screwed Battle.Net I think. Glad Microsoft took over.
