Yeah, the characters in this game are pretty dynamic. I wish more games would pull it off so well.
It's still pretty early on so my favourites could very well change

It really depends on the character for me. Some just click and others don't. Like the Hyperdimension games that I play. None of them are really good people, but they can still be likeable. Same with Fairy Fencer. Most of them are pretty crappy. It just depends for me with the personality types. One thing that gets me is characters who are very in your face with their personalities. It just doesn't click with me. Even if it's a positive personality, it just gets overbearing for me and I like them less because of it. I think that's why Junpei ranks so low for me. I don't dislike him, but it just goes overboard for me personally. Like the beach scene. It's like we get it he likes girls. Still going about it. Still going. Still on that. Yep, still going. Still likes ladies, okay. I know it was there for humour but it was just too much for me, you know? I can respect his character and why he seems to like fighting and his issues with his parents, and probably more stuff I'll learn. And that's why I don't dislike him. But he has a very strong personality and I can only handle that for so long before it feels overwhelming This is just personal opinion of course. Everyone has different tastes.
Yeah, Karifean told me about it. Thanks! Might try it out someday And maybe I'm just weird about my character. Yukari is probably my second favorite. I don't care of a character is nice or not. I want them human, believable, relatable, conflicted, which is exactly what Yukari and Junpei are. Probably why I also like Catelyn from Game of Thrones even though so many people hate her guts (my mom included).
I can see it. I can't quite describe it but her attitude in general can be off putting. Just her manner of speaking is a bit blunt and cold and she's often speaking less than kindly about some of your other party members. But she's also supposed to be like 17 and she's been through a lot so it doesn't bother me so much. Plus I like archer characters and I like her Persona visually and she's been useful as a healer to me Ohhh also I don't know if the link will work, but there's a visual novel builder on Steam. It's obviously not the same as making your own but it might be good practice and help you get a feel for things if you're still interested in making your own someday http://steamcommunity.com/app/345370 It's called TyranoBulder Visual Novel Studio, so you can look it up if you're interested and the link doesn't work. I haven't tried it out myself yet so I couldn't comment on how good it is, but it is on my wishlist
Junpei's my fave! Also, did you know a lot of people hate Yukari for some reason? In some Japanese polls she scored lowest of all the P3 and P4 characters combined! I mean, my wife hated her from a gameplay standpoint, since she was the only character who just kept dying, but she thought she was interesting personality-wise, regardless.
