  1. K thats seriously nasty. Stop.
  2. ...I dun get it.
  3. Ah, thats right, I forgot all about no GYM's another thing I didn't like.

Often I don't use pokemon based on their strengths I use them because I like them, and I think they're cool. As for no challenges, I always, ALWAYS beat the Elite Four with a severely weak party to make sure I still have to use strategy. When I first beat the Elite Four in Diamond my highest leveled Pokemon was 55 with quite a few pokemon that weren't even level 50. The Champion's highest is like, 67. All the others use mid to upper 50's going into 60.

I didn't dislike it out of challenge, but out of principle. Pokemon was awesome for the adventure. I could go and catch lots and lots of pokemon, whichever I wanted, or very few if I wanted to focus my training. There was a real feeling of, "Wow, these are mine to raise." It gave an subversive feeling, and I loved it. Breeding Eggs was a very cool addition which added to the feeling even more. Challenging GYMs and the Elite Four, having a rival who you where constantly trying to outdo. Thats what I liked about pokemon. The 'Teams' of the ports always gave me an interesting sub-plot, but I really didn't play for them.
  4. Yeah, Shadow Pokemon were awful and weak (and suicidic as well) but that's what made them so awesome. They added so much more challenge to the game. As for being able to catch so limited Pokemon (and only during trainer battles) that also made the game much more challenging. Only being able to catch Pokemon during trainer battles actually made you have to hold back on them instead of going all out since you needed to weaken and snag their Shadow Pokemon rather than beat it as quickly as possible. Also, limiting the Pokemon you can catch was a nice change of pace since it disallowed you to use cheap Pokemon (like Alakazam and Blaziken) to complete the game and added more strategy to the game. I'll admit that the World Map may have been a step down from the portable games, but seeing how there's no gyms in the Gamecube games since you're doing more important things than defeating gym leaders there's not much of a point in having a lot of towns since you don't need a town for each gym since there isn't any.

I take it that you're not good at difficult games that really restrict your strategies and don't find any enjoyment in them right?
  5. Shadow Pokemon where awful. I never found the portable storylines good, same went for The Gamecube's. I never played Pokemon for its stories. I wanted a full out 3-D Pokemon adventure like you'd get from the ports. Instead I got a hack job where I couldn't catch wild pokemon, I couldn't even catch half the total. It never felt like 'Oh yeah this are my pokemon that I raised!' And don't get me started on deciding to give us FFX's version of a world map. I loved Pokemon's use of 'Wow I've traveled real far.' This game took that away too.
    Pokemon Stadium or GTFO!

EDIT: Besides making nearly all the Pokemon catchable in Diamond and Pearl was clearly the best thing to happen to pokemon. Gotta catch'um all!
  6. Uh huh, yeah, sure. Shadow Pokemon, an epic storyline compared to the portable Pokemon Games, awesome music, characters that were more memorable than the ones in the portable Pokemon games, character developement within some of the villains. I don't think so.
  7. I remember him from Pkmon C. now. That game being the worst thing to happen to Pokemon, I have to disagree :o
  8. He's the greatest thing that ever happened to Pokemon of course!! :rolleyes2

Yeah, he's a bit weird and awkward looking but that's what makes him so great don't you think?
  9. Uh no. What is it?
  10. I was wondering something random, have you heard of Miror B before?
