I think most of the thug style rappers that manage to have more than one or two big hits have to be more educated than they let on. You can't survive in showbiz if you're as basic as they let on. It's just an image.
Yeah, I've been pleasantly surprised. I guess he comes off as a certain way from his music but he actually does some good humanitarian work and is a pretty good businessman. Makes you wonder if his music "persona" is more of a brand than anything
