Yeah alignment sucks in SMT1, its a nightmare to change it cause either its a rare choice that severely swings you into one direction or its tiny incremental work like killing certain enemies over and over again.
So when I get to playing DQ VII, I'll probably come back to telling you my progress and asking for tips One thing I'm worried about now is that there are more vocations than in VI but the party member count is around a half of that game, unless promotional materials have obscured some. So I don't know if I'll be able to do it right. What are the requirements for the Hero vocation this time?
I'm not too far from having the money, part of me thinks I'll have it by November. I'm just not sure I would be able to afford any games for it.

Ugh, that sounds rough. I think I was law for a while too, but I can't really remember when. You should totes get apocalypse. i would get it if it was out already and if I had the money. And my copy of DQ VII should arrive today, so yay! Though I probably won't play it just yet. Will have to finish other games first.
Well in Avatar Turner, I've just teamed up with the Wolves and I'm sneaking into the Brutes base from the Samsara sewers. I can pretty much tell that I'm going to be battling Lupa at the end of it. Cielo really doesn't get much love from me but I like Gale enough to cycle him into my party. Story has been great so far. SMT1, I just reached Ueno, on my way to the Gaian home base. Unfortunately, the King Enma/Yama ordeal in Ikeburo has shifted my alliance from Neutral to Law, so now I can't use half my demons. I'm also annoyed that I can't seem to find the right combination of jewels or demon fusion to get an Elemental Sylph so I can finally upgrade the Kusangi sword from a rusty stick to something halfway decent. On the brightside, Yama and his henchmen skyrocketed my levels. I'm currently getting ready to grind some money to finish upgrading the Heroine, and I may farm some enemies in hopes of finally upgrading her weapon. My main issue right now is that since I'm in Gaian territory, most of the demons are Chaos aligned and pretty much won't give me the time of day, so I'm going to have to figure out how to shift my alignment. I'm also still debating about picking up SMTIV: Apocalypse next week.
