Well thanks! But I think I'll probably wanna play them in order, since that's what I mostly do with new series You know I like my stories dark and well thought out, and I've heard that Tales does a lot of deconstructing, which is just my cup of tea
They're pretty good. Tell me what you like and I'll see if I can match up a good one for you. I've played a few of them
I need to try those Tales games someday.
That's pretty interesting to know
Well, you know. Can't exactly achieve world domination on an empty stomach! I do t know any Russians personally Putin definitely fits, though. There's actually a lot of characters in BG with Russian accents, mostly due to the world being a fantasy counterpart culture, and Edwin and others coming from the Russia-ish regions.
He gained some weight by the second one Does seem like an interesting character though! So you live in Europe and are therefore closer to Russia than I am; would you say most Russian people are lawful evil?
What a coincidence! Edwin is a really fun character. He's one of the Red Wizards of Thay who are kind of this dickbag organization of wizards controlling the use of magic that no one likes, but he's been cast out from them (probably). He's lawful Evil and has a Russian accent. You meet him when he's try into find the witch Dynaheir and kill her. Funnily, if you listen to Minsc and rescue Dynageir first, having those two join you, Edwin will join you anyway to "keep an eye on her". Despite being evil, he's a great addition to any party, since he has no conflicts with party members aside from Minsc, due to wanting to murder his ward and all. He's incredibly funny, because he has this big ego and constantly talks about overthrowing you as the party leader and taking over the world, since he doesn't seem aware the others can hear his hammy monologues. So he can be this Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain/Token Evil Teammate. Super fun. And he gets cursed into a woman a lot And he's really worth getting, since he's the hands down best mage in both games. Not even a player created mage can be better, and that's saying a lot. Here's his portraits in BG1 and BG2 respectively:
Basically that We have to restore her heart. The heart of Kohaku Hearts. (no one said it was the most clever). I think once you do the plot changes up because it's a Tales game and that's what they do, but I haven't gotten that far yet Funny story, I really like the name Kohaku so I looked it up and it apparently means Amber in Japanese. Amber would have been Michael's name had he been a girl because I really like the name Tell me about your character!
That sounds interesting! And the design is nice. So she's the main plot McGuffin then?
http://40.media.tumblr.com/27a1708d9...uin7o1_500.png It's miss Kohaku Hearts from Tales of Hearts. Her heart (well, it's not called that in this game, but same idea) was shattered and her emotions scattered all over the world, so we have to find them and get them back! So far I have kindness, fear, trust/doubt, and I think I'm working on sadness
