Conversation Between Fynn and Wolf Kanno

  1. Got some more DDS in today. I'm trying to rescue Sera from the Mick and Bat and doing the twisted Disney Castle dungeon. A bit disappointed they re-used some of the dungeon quirks from the Solid's Stronghold but the further I get in, the more interesting the puzzles are getting. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how I want to set up my team. I'm thinking I'll make everyone good with two elements a pop.

    Serph - Bufu and Hama
    Heat - Fire and Physical
    Argilla - Earth and Healing
    Gale - Wind and Death
    Ceilo - Electric and Support
  2. Oh yeah, and I guess you should see this since I kinda dragged you into this and want to hear your thoughts http://home.eyesonff.com/showthread....=1#post3634651
  3. Yeah, I remember it was a pain to keep swapping them once you get a working combination. Had the same issue with Soul Hackers, actually.
  4. My issue with my demons right now is that I have a really crappy one stuck in my inventory but until just recently, he couldn't fuse with anything without the combination being a slime. I can finally fuse him w8ith Decabari to make Ose, but I need five more levels. I just picked up the Kusangi sword and did a serious upgrade on my equipment. Kind of wish my heroine could find a better weapon, but then again, I have been neglecting her strength stat.

I just reached a Messian Stronghold and did what I needed to do, I'm conflicted with changing my team up as I have a nice combo going with auto-battle and I like the low Magnetite cost, but it's becoming more apparent I need to replace some of my demons.
  5. Hm. Can't remember how easy it was to be on the wrong alignment. Hopefully you didn't stray too far from neutral!

And yeah, levels do a lot, especially since you can recruit and fuse better demons.
  6. Well I think the reason why I was getting my ass handed to me for awhile there in SMT1 was due to being underleveled. I took down a boss and gained three to four levels for both my Hero and Heroine and now the game is much easier. It helped a demon gave me a really good sword for taking care of his buddy but I'm now starting to think I'm not Neutral alignment.
  7. It's been one of those games where I've put it down for months, but thankfully I'm at the point where it's pretty easy to pick back up. I think my main issue now is that barring three more major quests before what I assume is the main villain finally showing up, I'm feeling a bit underleveled and under equipped. So I may need to pull out a guide for the merchant side quest to grind some Gil and open up my inventory a bit before I begin the exhaustive process of grinding gems to level my crowns and gear.
  8. I've heard.
  9. It's a quirky game.
