Really? Ouch, I feel bad for that poor kid! I remember on my birthday the other year I got hit in the head with a football. Not funny. And those juniors need to cool off. They're just jealous that they aren't seniors yet, I bet. I know what you mean, a lot of people I know who are funny only at other people's expenses. But I know how to crack a joke and have a good time without hurting other people. It's a shame it's a skill not many people around here have. :/
Throwing things is stupid and puts people in danger. Seriously, a kid went blind in one eye from being hit by a grape. This happened at my school D: It doesn't even matter that, as seniors, we got absolutely no respect from the juniors. I mean, when we started, if you didn't move out of the way of the kids with senior jerseys then you were in trouble. But we used to get shoved and sworn at with our jerseys on. It was sad I try to make sure I'm still fun but not stupid, some people struggle to find the line. You can't forget to be fun while being mature!
Well, as long as you don't neglect yourself so much as to forget about eating and sleeping! Haha. Although sometimes I do forget to feed myself because I'm so engrossed in other things. Thanks, I take that as a compliment! I constantly get told that I'm very mature for my age. I went to my mom's work one day last year and they all told her, "Are you sure she isn't 13 going on 30? She should probably start working here!" You too seem pretty mature for your age (no, I'm serious). Most 17-year-old guys here in my school are just...annoying and about as intelligent as a 2-watt lightbulb. And they like to throw things at unaware freshmen (i.e. me).
I take ample time for myself! Every moment I have spare from helping other people But seriously, I probably do neglect myself a bit. But I'm working on it! Also I had to collect my jaw off the ground moments ago when I realised you're about six months younger than my brother and plenty more mature. You don't seem as old as him because you are sweet and innocent (I use it in the least patronising way possible here) whereas he is... not.
You are pretty cool, of course, and it's good that you want to help others, since there's so many selfish people nowadays. Just make sure you don't neglect yourself and your needs sometimes. I still lack self-esteem despite all my close friends (I hate you, Catholic school kids), but I do try put others before myself.
I have a lot of people who genuinely think I'm awesome so it's kind of hard to lack self esteem. I'm really grateful for that, so I spend most of my waking life helping other people! A lot of people think I'm a tool for not taking care of myself first but there's people doing that already EoEo scares me though. There's like... an atmosphere to that place. It's really heavy and oppressive xD
True, it does make me feel a lot better when I type out my problems, which is why I like EoEO so much. You shouldn't beat yourself up verbally (virtually?), though. It's bad for self-esteem, I guess. Like I'm one to talk. xD
I'd make two journals, but I'm just too lazy xD If I have a particularly strange entry that I don't want people to see, I just make them private. I have a handful where I just swear at myself the whole time. Makes ya feel so much better afterwards
