That's kind of a shame because the remakes of Pokemon games are always pretty wildly different from the originals (well, aside from the gen1 remakes maybe. Those were pretty by the books). It's a shame they can't be found on reasonable prices. Even if you found Emerald that would be closer to what gen3 is actually like, but I guess it's probably gonna be as expensive as the others. Still, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are good games. The story is altered and there's tons of new content from gen6 (mega evolutions, exp share, etc.) but it should still all be really fun even if you jump into it right after Silver. And yeah, Gold and Silver are definitely a step up from generation 1 in every way. Can't wait to see how your playthrough goes for you!
Yeah, I'm excited to start Silver pretty soon once I finish Blue, I kind of want to pick up some of the more recent games as well before they become "priceless classics" like everything else. I can already tell Ruby and Sapphire will have to be the remake versions cause finding the originals for a reasonable price is damn near impossible.
Almost done with Grus~! Also, all this talk of Pokemon has inspired me to try another playthrough of Black and Black 2. Will probably start pretty soon!
I had to keep tabs on SMTIV over here since we did actually get a physical release for it.
I remember only finding out about SMT IV being out here through a sale going on on the Nintendo eshop, so it was advertised on the front page.
Yeah, I need to keep my eyes open for it. As usual, they talk about it and then you hear nothing until after it's release.

Yeah... I mean, 8% isn't that bad by comparison. Still, if I ever do a replay of SMT IV, I'll probably go looking for them. Wonder if they'll change it for Apocalypse..
Yeah, surprising how trying to track down an optional boss that appears randomly will jump your levels up, especially when grinding can feel so slow in that game. Still annoyed with SMTIV for going back to the 1/256 chance.
