We all make those mistakes. Today I said I'd be back by 11:20 from the gym so we could eat brunch together. I came back a whole hour later
In the long run its not a big deal, its just frustrating right now. Especially since I knew but I didn't say anything. I was like "Hmm maybe I should tell him we need groceries before he leaves" but then I was like "nah he'll be back at like noon tomorrow so its not a big deal"
Don't apologize you Canadian, you I empathize. I can only imagine how frustrating that must be. I also hate it when plans go awry like that. Ania gets even more frustrated. It's kind of terrible that there's so many things in life that we just can't do anything about. Although maybe that's how we are meant to learn.
I'm just so frustrated. We were supposed to do groceries and we're on a budget so the actual meal foods we have (which isn't much) I need to save for dinners. I have no lunch food and all I could find for breakfast was some super old pancake mix that tasted like trout. And now plans have been delayed by 7 hours which means no lunch for me on top of no lunch or breakfast yesterday. I'm hungry and I'm upset And this always happens with his dad. That man can't stick to plans for the life of him. He's just so self-focued Urgh I'm sorry it's just frustrating
I know that feel. Sometimes you just can't help those things though. At least you know what's going on and why he's coming late - that's actually a huge deal. Try to focus on other things to keep your mind off it. And remember you have this wonderful friend to keep you company
So sharky was originally supposed to be home in about 15 minutes but that got delayed until around 3 (it's almost noon now). But now he just texted me and said his dad found another reason to stay and they won't be leaving until 4 and it's a 3-4 hour drive home I'm very sad now
