That sounds like quite the movie Mine was very good. We wen to an Indian restaurant for a change of pace. The food was okay but the atmosphere was great and we had some good conversation. Then we walked over to a comic book shop and browsed. We were going to get something for sharky but nothing really grabbed him. Then we went to a thrift shop type of place that was right next door and we each got a painting. His is like trees in the mist with a lot of purples and reds, it's very pretty. The one I got is a women from an earlier tome period in her doorway reading. We hung it above the fireplace and it matches the colouring perfectly. Then we went to the mall, and I got some nice smelling things and we browsed around. Then we got home and watched some bad tv
I still hate to spoil it for you, cause it's a good movie, but what the hell So it's about this guy Daniel who is in his forties, I guess? And he follows around this group of Eastern European fugitives (they're like all young boys - pickpockets, homeless, you know). He follows them, because this one boy Marek catches his eye, so he asks him to come over to his place for sex for €50. Instead of Marek, the whole group comes over, throws a party at his luxurious bachelor pad and robs him from most of his possessions, INCLUDING HIS PS3 Still, the next day Marek comes over and he's like "You still wanna smurf me?" and Daniel's like "Okay." And at first Marek's like super stiff and clearly does it all for the money, but they grow gradually closer, he comes over more often, and they're beginning to become this sort of couple. Marek later reveals his real name is Ruslan and that he's Ukranian and both his parents died in the war. After that, he's worried Daniel doesn't trust him because he doesn't want to have sex with him anymore, but in reality he wants him to stay but he has to leave his gang because they're dangerous. So Ruslan goes to retrieve his passport from the boss, but gets caught, Daniel saves him and they run away together. Which would be an awesome ending. But instead, in order for Ruslan to not get deported, Daniel ADOPTS HIM I just. ARGH!! Oh, and Marek is totally a Western Slavonic name (so Polish, Czech and Slovak), whereas the whole gang clearly spoke Russian and possibly Ukranian, which are Eastern Slavonic, which is completely different. But I don't know if it's a case of bad research or meaningful since Marek was a false name. But I still don't get why he adopted him instead of becoming his partner, because they were all of legal age and could do that no problem. It's kind of like hearing Ruslan's traumatic story made Daniel see him as a human being instead of a boy toy, and that killed his boner, I guess? If that's so, then he is a HUGE dick. But there is no explanation for this in the movie, which is really odd considering how head over heels he was for him at the beginning and how nicely their relationship developed... Sigh. I just can't get over that movie But it was still really good! Valentine's was very nice. We went to this fantastic Chinese place and saw this Italian movie which was okay, but nothing really memorable. it was obviously a good movie for teens, but a bit too flat for an adult audience, especially considering the amazing movies we got to see on V-day in the past, like her. And how was yours?

By the way, there was this French Film Festival going on lately. You could view a lot of movies online for free and we saw a couple really good ones. Though the one we saw yesterday, Eastern Boys, has me baffled even now You heard of it? Do you want to hear me rant about it or do you want to see it yourself and then we can discuss it?
