Well that's awesome, and I'm happy for you I, on the other hand, am enjoying the hell out of Soul Hackers. If you didn't hate the first person perspective thing, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to you. It's much more Persona than SMT in tone. Quite similar to P2 in that regard, aftualy
Well, that's fine. It's not like everyone has the same taste in games. But I'm really excited for it, myself.
Maybe later. I've read the entire tv tropes page on it, so yeah, I kinda heard different. It's also made by the Devil Survivor team, which I really am not wild about.
From what I've heard, the "oh, it's all about idols" thing are from people who only played or looked at the first section. Apparently, it's a dissection of the entire Japanese entertainment industry, with each chapter focusing on a different part. It's about stepping out, being a performer/entertainer, and the troubles of a lot of different fields of the industry, with some good psychological elements thrown in, even if not as heavy. Give this video a watch:
It's kinda the opposite for me. From what I heard, it's like 10% Fire Emblem, 0.4% SMT. And the plot is like P4 DAN without the psychological deconstruction
The more I hear about it, the better it sounds. It's very heavily inspired by Persona and SMT.
Don't have a wii U yet. Plus, I'm not really sure I would be getting it if I did, honestly :/
Well, I respect your right to remain spoiler free. But it's annoying. Are you going to be getting Tokyo Mirage Sessions (formerly SMTxFE)?
that's exactly why I'm hiding I'm doing an experiment and trying to go into these games just like in the old days!
Also, why you hide from Sun/Moon info? The last trailer didn't provide a lot, just the Types of the Legendaries (and Pokedex descriptions on the website), but it let us determine the mythological origin of the legendaries, and now I have no one to discuss them with!
