I just stopped caring if I disappoint people years ago. Granted, I'll compromise with my wife because she's my wife and that's part of being married, but with anyone else, screw them if they want something from me or for me that I have no interest in. What I do is none of their business.
yeah that would be nice. I'm probably just taking this extra hard because I feel like I'm constantly expected to be someone I'm not and when I just say screw it and here is what I want I just end up disappointing people. i guess that's a whole other topic though :P
