It does sound very familiar. I feel like it's a few of Nobuo Uematsu's pieces but there are some other elements from other composers in there as well, I just can't put my finger on who.

It will be interesting to see how it fares this time around. It was more of a divisive game than FFX was, so despite its strong initial sales on release, I'm curious to see how well it will fare this time around since it won't have the "new FF" hype around it.
