So this is still far away, because I'll probably spend some time on IV, but it would be cool if I used some specific restriction or challenge for V and VI because I feel pretty comfortable with those games and always went about beating them by mastering all jobs/Espers on everyone, so it'd be fun to see what people think would be an interesting yet completely doable way of getting through the game
It's not a bad game, it's just a different version of FFIV, but for me the original will always be the "definitive one". I feel the same way about FFIII and its DS remake. I just feel its best to appreciate both games when you play them in their original form, as opposed to the pseudo-modern upscale versions. I'm sure the VII remake will also be a scenario if I ever bother to play it.
But is it like, you think the DS remake is bad, or good in its own right, just not the same as the FFIV of your youth?
Never played it, never wanted to. I simply prefer the original.

I remember a little and what I don't I can look up. The DS version of IV wasn't my favorite incarnation of the game sadly.
