I'd love it if you got multiple trainers on the field, and certain kinds of trainers gain benefits when fielding certain teams, like trainers that sepcialize in bug types, "Cute" pokemon, and what not. Maybe get the actual Shin Megami guys to handle the battle system. (Though I dont' know if I'd want them doing a more kid friendly story like Pokemon tends to be. )
You know... I totally agree. It's such a shame there has yet to be a pokemon game that includes them all. And a more grand story would be welcome as well. One that includes previous villains like good old Team Rocket instead of just introducing new bad guys all the time like "team strawberrysauce" etc.
They need to make a massive SRPG style pokemon similar to the gameplay of the Devil Survivors. Make the story massive and epic and include ALL the pokemon in the series to date in it. That's the Pokemon game I want.
For a catched pokemon, IV average of 18-20 is pretty high. And while Adamant is the best and attack the most important stat, Scyther/Scizor can still be a powerhouse without that +10% increase. Especially once it gets Sword Dance.
Its why I wanted Adamant, but I was sick of hunting, so Jolly was the second best option. My IV's seem to all be around the mid range, though my Attack and speed are high 20's, though HP is a little low. Seems like a good Scyther to me.
Nice! Jolly is better than a lot of other options, since it gives minus to Sp.Attack, which is what you want. And additional speed is never bad.
Oh, and also make sure that it has the ability "Technican" if possible. It's so much better than Swarm and once it's evolved into Scizor, Sword Dance + Bullet Punch is pretty much all you need to beat 80% of everything you'll ever encounter. A fighting move will take care of the rest.
Aha, guess it's harder to make a trade then. Though while it's always nice with pokemon that have good stats, IV and EV training is far less relevant against AI than against other players with good teams. Adamant is the best nature for Scyther/Scizor by far though, so you'd still want that at least.
Yeah, I'm running Platinum off an emulator right now. I needed to do something to kill time now that I can't play my PS3. :P
Ah, right! I remember that now that you mentioned it. Been a while. I got an Adamant scizor with quite good IVs in Pearl. I could probably use it to breed a pretty nice scyther and then trade it over, if you don't mind?
