Well, there is the "double the types, double the weaknesses" factor to worry about. Unless it's Spiritomb, Palkia, Drapion, or something like that. Also, another question (sorry if this is starting to annoy you). I happened to use up my Razor Fang to evolve an Impish Gligar (which I got using the Lead Sychronize trick) that has Sand Veil. Do you think I should try to catch another one that'll have Hyper Cutter instead? I know it's probably not much to worry about since I'm only considering in-game (not the world of Gyarados and Salamence who are common Intimidators), but at the same time it'll be nice to know that its attack stat will stay fully intact when other Pokemon try to lower it. I probably won't be heavily training one anytime soon, but I want to make sure that I have a good Gliscor, just in case I feel like training one eventually.
I'm not entirely sure. I think that the bonus is a bit smaller due to having two types-- merely for the sake of balance. No one would use one-type Pokemon when they could get double the advantages of having a two-type one.
I could always just switch out after fainting a Pokemon with Outrage. I'm only considering in-game factors after all. ...though I never really considered the fact that Outrage is only super effective against very few Pokemon. Also, dual typed Pokemon still get 1.5x STAB right? I remember reading somewhere that they get 1.25x STAB instead, to balance out the fact that they have two STABs to take advantage of instead of the usual one.
I'd take out Outrage. Dragon type moves can be effective, but you're not really exploiting many weaknesses that way, aside from Dragon types. On the other hand, Megahorn isn't super-effective against many types either, but Psychic types are much more common than Dragon types. That, and Outrage has that annoying confusion side effect at the end.
Alright, fine: Nidoking: Poison Jab (Same Type Attack Bonus) Earthquake (Same Type Attack Bonus) Fire Punch (with Outrage it hits everything for at least neutral damage) Outrage (with Fire Punch it hits everything for at least neutral damage) Now I'm thinking of teaching Nidoking Megahorn, for taking on Psychic types that it's weak against. The thing is, I'm not sure which move to overwrite.
I'm pretty sure that doesn't matter.
I'm kind of wanting to ask you your opinion about this moveset for my Pokemon, but I'm kind of reluctant to seeing how once I do ask you it'll totally give away the team I'll use when I'm facing you. I've already given away most of my team in previous usernotes.
I've had quite a few dreams about EoFFers.
It's weird to say the least.
You're not going to comment on the PM I sent you?
