  1. I've looked in to Valkyria Chronicles but I dunno. Didn't seem like it would be for me
  2. Friends it is then! Glad to have you. As far as games, it's like I tried to explain in the Nintendo thread; I am constantly moving from game to game. When I have time anyway. Always looking for one that grabs me in a special way. The ones that feel more like an experience than a hobby

Lately on my plate I've gotten back into the DS and PSP. But unlike before where it was just Tales of Innocence, I'm delving a little deeper into the fan translated scene. Trying 7th Dragon, Soma Bringer, and Blood of Bahamut for DS. Only really dug into Soma Bringer so far though. It's an interesting action RPG from the Xeno gears / saga / blade team. Story hasn't really grabbed me yet but on the good side the translation team didn't accidentally break multiplayer like the group that did Tales of Innocence did. So I can play this one with my girlfriend. So it'll be like Secret of Mana or something

On PSP I finally got a working copy of Valkyria Chronicles 3 and cannot wait to play that one. I absolutely adored the original on PS 3. Only bad part was a ridiculously hard battle I couldn't get past :/
  3. Haha I'd call us more e-friends. Nothing wrong with a difference of opinion if its done right.

So what games are you playing now? I've got a whole bunch going because I'm getting ready to do a top games list. I have 2 console games, a handheld, and a computer game, and when I finish one I replace it with another. So right now I'm playing FFXIV, Skies of Arcadia Legends, FFIV: The After Years, and FFVI
  4. Aw, thanks! It's kind of you to mention. Your outlook on games always interests me as well. Sometimes I feel like I'm speaking beyond myself, I have a hard time wording my opinions in the ways I'd prefer. But yeah, I try to take the whole conversation thing to heart here. Not just an echo chamber or a place to argue on the internet. And though our opinions on things may differ from time to time, I'm always surprised at just how much we have in common as well. So if we have to disagree, at least we'd be able to do it as frienemies :P
  5. Hello! I just wanted to say that regardless of our differences in opinion, I always enjoy discussing games with you. You're always respectful and you raise points I sometimes hadn't considered

    So yep :P
  6. Thanks for the advice! I might look in to something like that
  7. Ah, the screenshot thing. Well, I am in a similar boat as you. But some of the games I wanted to get into weren't really all that compatible with emulator and mouse clicks. Things like The World Ends With You, or Hotel Dusk just beg to be played on a real system. But still going for like $30 a piece makes it hard to build up a good collection when I'm poor. So I sought the answer from the dark side and finally started looking into this thing known as a flash card >.> They can go for as much as $55 But I managed to find one of the higher rated ones that works on 3DS as well as DS (but only to play DS games) from a super reputable site for only $10

Not trying to sound like a Visitor Message-to-Visitor Message Salesman. Just that you might be able to get some use out of it as well, for cheap. So I just thought I'd stop by and say hey there's this thing out there that might make your life a little happier lol Especially for things that were fan-translated, or got translated but not released on particular regions. Wow this is a really long VM. Sorry
  8. I have a DS Lite and a 2DS, but I use an emulator for my Let's Play's so I can screenshot

    Why do you ask?
  9. I know you don't use a system for your Let's Play, but I'm curious: do you have a DS/3DS?

I can't remember if it was you, or one of the other couples that was mulling over a financial justification of a purchase of a 3DS a few months back or I'd probably already know the answer
