4444th user note! Don't tell me I can't double post in user notes RSL! You've done it in Amanda's numerous times.
Creeeeeeepy. Those mogs freak me out.
I wonder if I'll ever change my username...
Don't think of that as weird! It is very good that you like school. I look back at school fondly, where at the time, I didn't like it. I can't even understand what I thought was so bad about it! It sure beats going to work day in and day out! But that's another rant for another day. I need to get to bed.
I went to elementary and middle school in a different town than I went to High School in. We were taught Spanish from third grade until eighth grade. Right after my eighth grade year, the school I went to was shutting down. Almost all of my class went to this one school called Sentral. Four of us went to Algona, which is a bigger and better school (and is where I live now anyway.) The point of all this is this: My spanish teacher somehow convinced me that I should skip Spanish I when I got there and head straight into Spanish II! I will tell you right now that the only reason I think I passed both semesters of Spanish II is that my teacher felt sorry for me and was too nice to flunk me. I didn't learn anything. I was way over my head. I did get D's, but that was enough to get credit for the course. I remember very little Spanish now. I don't think I could construch one sentence in that language. I regret not taking high school more seriously than I did. At the time, I didn't think anything of it. You probably don't want any lectures from me so I won't give you any. But try and take school at least a little seriously. That is just some advice, you do not have to follow it!
I don't remember really. I think my hair smelled like shampoo or something. This has been many years ago. I don't really have any nicknames now. A few years ago, some people at work started calling me Cliff for no reason at all that I could tell. That has pretty much died off though. I didn't mind being called Cliff (my real name is Justin, by the way), it was just weird. When I was in high school, I was in Spanish II class as a freshman, which was pretty weird. It was mostly sophomores and juniors in that class. A few of the juniors called me Doobie. They were good guys though, and it was just playful stuff. I actually remained friends with some of those guys for many years, though sadly, I've lost touch with all of them now. My sister used to call me Houstinio. I don't know if that's how you would spell it though. I don't know where or why she came up with that one. Actually, she might still call me that. I'm not sure. With nicknames, sometimes it gets to a point where you answer to that name and don't even realize that you weren't called by your real name. (for reference, I"m the oldest of five, this is the order from oldest to youngest with names, so you don't get confused. Justin, Jill, April, Paige, Glen). Okay April was the middle child. My mom would often call to her and start saying a J name, and then say April. So it would sound like Japril. This happened more than you would think. Well, to be mean, Jill and I would call her Japril all the time. But for some reason, we eventually modified it and shortened it to Japs. April hated being called Japs, and we were mean to continue calling her that. Over the years though, she just started answering to it like it was her name. She wouldn't even respond any differently. Luckily, I've finally grown out of calling her Japs. I can't remember the last time I did it. Anyway, back to my nicknames. Sometimes my sister Paige calls Justin Credible (a play on the words just incredible, also, there used to be a pro wrestler called Justin Credible, well maybe he still wrestles, I don't know. I don't really watch that stuff any more.) I've also received a few justin jokes like that before. One time, when I was in third grade, we had this church thing to be at. My mom was pretty bad at getting us to places on time, so we were a little late. Some guy who's name escapes me said to me "Justin, did you just get in?" I didn't realize his pun until years later. At the time I was just like "yeah." Oh boy I bet that guy thought I was dumb! Well, I probably was dumb, but not much I can do about that now.
I was called Shampoo Boy in school.
That's a good book!
I sure hope so!
Aww, that's no fun.
