i've tried it all....somehow it just won't recognize anything...it says the port is active but nothing detected in it. i need a new comp altogether
Have you tried repairing it in the registry?
no, the slot is dead though...the slot the card goes into, my computer doesn't even recognize that there's anything plugged into it ...i need a new motherboard or to get an AGP card instead.

guess what? my pci port died...so no video card...i have to run AGP and i don't know if that port is what ruined the old card or not :S
