Thanks, shion That sums up how I feel about the matter, but some doubt just came and I kind of needed to reassure. She's meant to be a character that will stir up some chaos in the story, but I still very much want to make her human. Hope it works! I got kind of a cool design in mind for her that I might soon place in my thread
Of course there is. Trying to find a way to phrase this properly... A well written character is realistic, not written to avoid offending people, if that makes sense. I mean, not written to offend people either but you know. If you worry too much about not wanting to insult x or offend y eventually the character doesn't feel real anymore. It's like if you have a black or gay character, you can't make them saints to avoid offending black or gay people, because they are sure enough people with faults. The thing too look out for there is stereotypes I guess. Like you can have a black villain but if he's eating fried chicken while destroying the world, then its kind of racist... Not sure how much sense I'm making. Just make her a person, not walking chlamydia, and give her more depth than just her prominent sexuality
Shion, I'm in quite a conundrum. For "Eden" I had this one idea for a character, but that could be problematic. She's meant to be pansexual and very promiscuous, but not always presented in a good light, because I want all the characters to be various shades of gray. Do you think there is a way that I can make her work, as in, that it won't be considered slut-shaming?
