  1. I have always identified with Fox Mulder, so good choice.
  2. That's good. I think my last manga was JoJo's Bizarre Adventures (which I'm still trying to catch up to current) and I'm currently re-watching Robotech for a taste of my childhood.
  3. It's been a while since I read any manga. I think it was either Tsubasa Reservoire Chronicle or xxxHolic that I read last (I read them back to back, so it gets blurry), but we are watching an anime now finally! It took us a long while to decide to watch something after FMA: Brotherhood. Now we're watching a slice of life/school drama series that I can't remember the name of. It's actually really nice to watch, as the color palette is so warm and pastel-y you can just feel the nostalgia. And there's a classical music element too it, so both me and the wife are getting music school flashbacks
  4. Yeah, I always enjoyed that series too. I need to collect someday, right now I've been in a giant robot/mecha anime series mode. Probably due to replaying Front Mission 3.
  5. By the way, I haven't read the manga, but I did enjoy Haibane Renmei a lot as an anime. It reminded me very much of Hard Boiled Wonderland and The End of the World by Haruki Murakami, which I later learned it was inspired by. But yeah, definitely one of my all-time favorites.
  6. Well mine kind of died last week as well but I'll probably pick up a new one soon because it sees too much action to be left behind. Part of me was debating about jumping into next-gen this year but I still feel like I have too much stuff to do last gen to worry about it.
  7. Yeah, I can agree that VII got a much more drastic revamp, so it's certainly great for everyone. As for VIII, I don't have the luxury of having access to my PS2 so
  8. Potability is nice but not a sealed deal for me. I have the game for PS2 and I still regularly play on said PS2 so it's no problem for me. VII has enough design changes that it may have actually been refined into a better game than it originally was. As much as I enjoy DQVII it certainly has pacing and design flaws so the port feels like a good idea. Especially since this has been the case with most of the series ports being vast improvement over the originals.
  9. Well, just having VIII on a portable system is a reason enough for me to get the game I mean, I don't even care about the new characters that much. I want to feed my 3DS good stuff
  10. Possibly but at least ghat one is easier to get a hold of on PS2. Trying to get a copy of VII is bit pricey last time I checked. Not to mention the 3DS version offers enough changes to make it worth picking up whereas the VIII port feels more novelty.
