I'm so rarely in the writing forum that I didn't know you had anything going on in there. I'll be sure to check it out.
I am really enjoying it. It's funny. I recommended it to sharky . I've never actually heard of it, so it's basically brand new to me. Maybe I'll be able to play it one day. In other news, I will be posting chapter 2 of my story in the Writer's Forum in the next few days if you get bored and want to read it. Its still a draft so any feedback is appreciated .
I'm glad you seem to be enjoying my Mystic Quest play through. It's funny going back and playing through it now since it was my first Final Fantasy. It seems a lot different 20 years later.
Ahahaha. That's a great story. I mean I get that the south isn't exactly equipped for winter, and there's a reason we have winter tires in Canada, but I mean come on. There isn't ANY ice on the ground. And everyone's like oh no freezing rain wat do?!?!?
That's hilarious. Speaking of funny American reactions to weather, a guy I worked with recently knew someone who was from Canada but lived in Texas for a while I believe (might have been somewhere else in the south). There was one work day where they got a decent amount of snow when usually they get none. Not only was he the only person that still went to work, he was the only person on the road at all that wasn't driving into ditches. No one else knew what to do at all with a bit of snow on the ground.
Funny story for my fellow Canadain. I moved to South Carolina and today they got a little bit of freezing rain. It didn't even freeze the ground because the ground is too warm. Kids were sent home from school and businesses actually shut down. It was so warm out I could go out in just a long sleeved shirt. There isn;t even any ice on the ground! Oh, south .
Awesome! VI is definitely my favourite. Gameplay's a bit too easy, but the story and characters were incredibly well written given the storage limitations the SNES cartridges had.
I'm glad you like it . I'm actually planning on playing VI next. I'm excited because I've never gotten that far so it'll almost be like a whole new story. I've never played past disc 1 in VII, but I did read the game script so I know how the story goes.
I think it reads better that way actually. A nice stream of consciousness style with your thoughts just popping out as they happen. Seems like a really honest take of it. Seriously, I'm really enjoying it so far. I wouldn't mind seeing you do it with some of the other games when you have the chance and are finished with VII.
:P thanks I'm glad people are enjoying it. I don't really think it out, I just write it as it comes in my mind so for all I know it could have been really boring.
