That’s very likely, about the famine thing. Before that, even. It is thought that many of the exotic foods & habits developed in Asia were because of scarcity of food when man (presumably) arrived there. They also eat chicken feet in China. I like chicken feet more than the wings. One does not actually eat the feet.
Yeah, I guess I just didn't like the way she said it. Like...like she thought I was trying to...I don't know. I just didn't like her TONE.
I dunno...I got kinda a bad response. And I even lied a little bit, to make it sound not so bad. My dad was especially weird about it. My mom was like all mixed about, and went from "Does he want to stay at our house?" to being not so cool and all suspicious and "WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO MEET HIM" which is just a hassle.

On a different note, I did bring it up with my parents. Kind of.
I'm not trying to be negative, but it is kind of far for them to drive all the way down to drop you off.
