I mostly ignored Eurovision this year. Meh. Oh, by the way, Ania and I saw a gay couple at the store yesterday. Which, over here, is pretty rare, as I'vr told you before about the Polisb and their homophobia (Poznan is probably the most accepting city in Poland, but still). It was kinda funny, as each of us saw them at different times and both came to our own conclusions about them being a couple, even though they did not look stereotypically gay at all. I saw a phone call and meaningful glances, she saw them sniffing and picking out detergent. The final thought we had on it is that we thought they were gay not because they looked gay, but because they looked like a couple. And that's pretty adorable and I hope more and more people here can feel comfortable enough to come out and find the loves of their lives
xD I just saw the Swedish one. It was a bit... classier
The worst thing is Polish politicians are butthurt Conchita Wurst won instead of this (this they called "magnificent"), launching a huge new wave of homophobia. Well, it's their own fault for not knowing their audience - the predominant demographic for Eurovision are gay males
It was something
It's terrible abd sexist and OH MY GOD!!!
