Congratulations. I'm useless in terms of present ideas though. An easy thing to do would be to take something he likes and get a gift card which lets him purchase the things he likes. I hear those sorts of things are generally simple and appreciated. But I'm a terrible present picker.
Yeah, it is getting pretty expensive. Today is my anniversary!! I want to get my boyfriend a present but I donno what to get :/
Yeah, driving tends to be far more enjoyable without the stress of someone dissecting everything you're doing. Sometimes it's a lot of fun (not to mention good practice when you just finished driving school) to just go and drive. Then again, it was a lot more fun when I got my license and gas wasn't well over a buck a litre.
I'm sorry about you loss. Yes it has ligtened the stress. I have still been practicing driving and I do so much better and enjoy driving more when I don't have someone pointing out every little mistake.
I'm doing pretty well all things considered. I had to attend the funeral for a friend of mine last week which is not something you expect to happen when you're 26 years old, but I think I've been coping quite well considering. I've mostly been trying to focus on other things and getting back to normal everyday life. I'm looking forward to presenting the census results soon too since that is always fun, just to throw a shameless plug in there. How have you been doing since driving school finished up? Has it at least lightened the stress load a bit having one less thing to worry about? Not that work and school don't offer plenty on their own.
