I can't believe we've been talking about Snow for three pages.
Pervert Sazh. I don't remember anything about the music.
Ooh, also, XIII had amazing music.
Before Fang shows up, there's numerous occasions where they sorta flirt, he looks up her skirt, etc.
Sounds about right. I consider it the weakest FF entry by far. Wait, they ship tease Sazh with Vanille? I thought it was Vanille and Fang?
Haven't beaten it yet, though. Overall, I consider it one big wasted opportunity. The world is interesting, the characters have potential - in better hands, this could have been a really fantastic game. I don't think it's the worst thing ever, and there are some high points, but I just find myself bored with the character progression system and the dungeon design, which if done well, would help me look past the poorly written story. I like Lightning, even if she's under-utilized, and I like Vanille's voice, despite all those weird sounds they made the VA make. And while I really liked Sazh, it was weird that the game kept ship teasing him with Vanille. Still, the forced drama and dialog really grinds on my nerves at times. While I hated that about X as well, at least that game had a tiny bit of humor to it.
That too. That was something I was afraid of going in because they usually make the muscle heads dumb, but that wasn't the case with Sabin. Looking forward to seeing the traffic when I publish my FFVI review tomorrow. While we're on the subject of Final Fantasy, what's your overall thoughts on FFXIII now that you played it for yourself? Don't worry, I'll be nice.
And he wasn't too dumb to function.
Sabin is the original lovable doofus. In Final Fantasy anyway.
Good gameplay, crappy story.
