A little of both actually. You're on a journey to find your dad by taking up his mission to beat the Demon Lord Baramos. What party are you using?
Also, I am super happy the quasi-archaic script is gone. FINALLY. Why don't have access to a full world map? Do I get one on the way? Also, even though the script is much better, I'm kind of lost on why I'm adventuring. I know my dad went and never came back, but is that it? Am I looking for him? Or am I just after the arch fiend, making the objective identical to DQI and II?
That opening sequence in DQ III is pretty dang amazing
I still have to grind my way to better gear and levels. Especially since it looks like Prayer/Wizard Rings can only be acquired in the lottery game, so I'm going to have to be a little more careful going through the next section. Mainly it's just the long grind for me now but then I'll move on. I do plan on playing through DQIII as well after this because it's been so long. Also don't worry bout the game, it's a bit more forgiving than the first two.
Just beat DQ II. Merloth took two attempts but only because I was careless with my MP. Yay! Now I hope I don't mess up in III
I've reached Rendarak. The cave wasn't so hard, aside from being incredibly easy to get lost in. My levels are 35, 33, and 28. Killed some liquid metal slimes, so that helped. I also got a Devil's Tail and have no idea what it does.
Well luckily DQIII is a little better about telling you what to do next... a little. Being vague about objections has kind of always been this series problem.
Oh, tell me about it. And really, asking somebody who knows it is the best course of action, since guides can be vague.
No problem, it's kind of bitch figuring everything out in these old games without a some help.
Thanks!
