The thread can be found on the third floor of the Northern Drakhorn Tower, the one you needed the special cloak to reach. All you need to do is go to the third floor and just start looking around to find it. If you give it to the seamstress, he will make a Water Robe which is the Princess' best armor. There is a woman in Tantagel Castle locked behind a Gold Door that tells you this.
Oh, sweet! I actually have the Rubiss tjing already, just need the statue from the sea cave. By the way, what's with the sowing guy in Slewse? I have the subtle scuttle for him, but I thinknIm missing thread?
I now have the Rubiss Charm and simply need to go to the Road to Rhone. Course I first need to make 120,000 gold first, so I can fully upgrade my party to be ready for it...
It sounds more complicated than it really is. The remake of III is one of my favorite remakes in the series because they really added some meaningful content to the game. I'll be happy to give advice though. You inspired me to go back to my own DQII playthrough and I'm almost where you are now. I need to get the Evil Statue from the Ocean Cave and then it's a matter of getting the final seal and the Rubiss Charm. Of course I still need to grind some Gold for better gear for the Prince of Cannock. Also it looks like the Wizard/Prayer Ring is rather rare in the NES version as it seems to be a lottery only item. Guess I'll need to grind better levels while I'm at it...
That actually sounds pretty complicated. I think Im gonna have to ask you for advice more often with III
Personality Traits act as a second modifier for stats in addition to the job class. Example: Warrior has base stats that are skewed for Strength and Vitality. If you give them the Valiant personality, those two stats will rise significantly higher on level up because the stat modifiers are the same as the warrior base. If you gave them the Macho personality which is geared towards a Fighter based character, the Warrior will still get good Vitality bonuses, but they will get lower returns on strength compared to Valiant in exchange for a boost to speed. You determine a characters personality when you create them but there are items in the game that also change a characters personality when used or equipped. This is important because you can change classes in this game but it works differently than other systems. You can change a class at Dharma Temple/Alltrades Abbey when they reach a minimum of Lv. 20. Once changed to their new profession, they are reverted back to Lv. 1 but their old stats are halved and used as the base for the new Job.
Do personality traits change anything?
Boring but practical: Warrior, Mage, and Priest. Merchants and Thieves are pretty nice to have in the early sections of the game, and you'll have to make a Merchant character anyway, though it's better to make a new one than make any of your main party into one. *hint* There's not much to spoil here actually. You make your party like FFI except for the MC who is the Hero class. Since I'm guessing the iOS version follows the remakes, the real fun is choosing personality traits for everyone.
I have no idea because I try to read as little as I can about the games So I only know what you told me. WHat do you recommend?
What party are you thinking of using for DQIII?
