It has a very similar plot to FFX, but it's not really a case of plagiarism since they came out around the same time. Still, the resemblance is uncanny, but I think Grandia II does a better job with it, and it has an action turn system similar to Child of Light. I'd really recommend it. I think it recently got a new PC rerelease.

I am curious about the story too. I mean, yes, it seems like FFX (right down to having Tidus, Yuna, Auron, and Rikku), but I really doubt things will be that simple.
