I want to do another playthrough of SMTIV now as well as tackle Fatal Frame but MGSV is just so damn big. I'm starting to worry that I won't get my entries ready for the spooky story contest at this rate.
That's great I can't remember the last time I got so engulfed in a game. While I play SMT 1 on my phone when I'm on the tram, I'm also playing Fantasy Life, after that I intend to finish Codename Steam, and then try to beat Strange Journey. After that, I really wanna do a thorough replay of IV.
In other news, I feel MGSV is eating my soul. I honestly can't think about playing anything else.
I don't know man. I honestly feel SMT would probably be bigger if you went by the franchise as a whole.
I'd say the number is probably pretty even. Though SMT would definitely win out if you counted evolutionary lines as single Pokemon, since SMT doesn't really have that (yes, I know demons can sometimes change into other demons, but it's kind of different).
I don't even know how many Pokemon there are anymore. I stopped playing after the first generation. Though to be fair, if we counted how many demons you can use over the course of the SMT franchise, I'm sure it will dwarf Pokemon as entire races of demons have been relegated to one or two games.
I'm pretty sure over 400 Pokemon is feasible in X and Y without trading.

Okay, my SMT situatuon is kinda under control now. I'm in Shinagawa with my human characters at level 48 and full new gear, and all demons over 40. I'm doing pretty good, I think. And yeah, Stephen just upgraded my COMP so now I ca hold up to ten demons.
I own Soul Hackers but have not had time to really play it, I'm really behind on my handheld backlog. For the most part it's like Strange Journey. The Devil Summoner series is more story driven than regular SMT, so basically Persona story with classic SMT game mechanics. Devil Survivor has some really good gameplay and I've heard Devil Survivor 2 is an improvement over the first game but the first game kind of rubbed me the wrong way so it hasn't been a high priority for me.
