I dunno. i did my intials and my last name. I thought, K. L. Would sound less female than Kaycee. But then I have my picture haha. I wanted to write scifi at the time and for some reason people don't tend to like lady scifi writers. So I am under a similar "well hmm how do I present myself" lol I personally am not bothered by your name but i may be bias
Well, we'll see how it goes. I'm wondering which story I should post first. Hopefully I can actually start getting people to read my stuff. Also, do you think I should maybe go with a left foreign sounding pen name? I kinda entered my real name right off the bat, but I later remembered that actually colors people's perception of me which I don't really want.
i meant the other person xD Oh yeah also, on the discussion sections in their forums, you can "like" someones post but also find it interesting or educational or whatever. I think it really helps when you post and someone finds what you said to be educational or whatever. It's a neat concept.

Nah really scribophile is pretty great though. You can join groups for your specific genre. And discuss even further that genre and topics and stuff. And sometimes they do contests in those groups and it has a lot of writing resources. The critiques aren't always great but it's better than nothing! I haven't posted there in ages cause I haven't been writing in ages that i felt I could share things but if you want a friend there, i have an account!
