lol. I think a lot of followers came about from my constant use of the retrogaming, gamersunite, and arcade tags. There are some tags that a bunch of Twitter accounts will retweet automatically and that's where a lot of my traffic comes from. I've yet to find a useful tag when I review newer games, though.
As long as you maintain once a week I don't think it is too bad. If I had a twitter account I would probably tweet once every few months and never get any followers. I'm bad at keeping up with stuff that I know I should be.
On the plus side I still have over a hundred followers on Twitter despite only tweeting once a week now.
