Yeah, it does suck. As I said in my thread, I'm not sure if there is a good solution. I'm not prepared to be assaulted etc. based on my identity.

And yeah, I know. I need to find a way to raise it, but I'm not sure I've come up with the appropriate method yet.

Does it hurt you a lot for not being able to be who you really are? You need someone to listen and care.

I dunno. That's the difficult part.

But adapting to a completely new environment, can you manage?

Not for trans people it isn't. It's not that great for gays/lesbians/bisexuals either. I mean it's probably better than most of the Middle Eastern countries or something (though strangely, Iran not only accepts trans people but actually pays for their treatment/surgeries) but it's not better than most of the developed world.

You live in the states? I thought that place is more accepting than most of the other countries?

One of these days I'm going to move. Hopefully it'll be to a place where they'll be more likely to accept me for who I am, but I dunno. Either that or I'll just move to D.C. and do a lot of activism. Idk.

I don't really know that I'm doing much better. I'm still pretty conflicted about it. :/
